Accredited Bridal Consultant & Certified Wedding Professional, Jessica A. Yates (formerly Robinson), began her career as founder and lead consultant of Elegant Events in 2002 after being exposed to the industry for many years.  Her passion for planning grew far beyond anyone's expectations as she began to create her own path into the events and weddings industry, thus starting her own company with a name that describes her planning style as its best…Elegant!

Jessica is currently an active member of the Association of Bridal Consultants, where she continues to gain experience in the “Business of Brides”.  It is through ABC that she received her designation as an Accredited Bridal Consultant (ABC) and continues to strive for higher learning in the industry by currently pursuing designation as a Master Bridal Consultant (MBC).  She has received several acknowledgments for her dedication to the organizations DC/MD Chapter, where she is also a co-director for the Southern Maryland networking group.  In 2008, Jessica received a second certification from The Wedding Planning Institute (WPI), were she also taught as an instructor at the College of Southern Maryland - LaPlata Campus.
