About Us
Elegant Events, founded in 2002 by Jessica A. Robinson, provides Event/Wedding Planning, Event Design, Rental & Stationery Services and Accessories throughout the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan area. In 2005, the company introduced Wedding Planning as an additional service to meet the high demand for wedding industry professionals.
In 2006, the company launched a rental and purchase line to create a one stop shop for wedding couples and event host. Since the launch of their product line, Elegant Events has been fortunate enough to expand its services by being national distributors for both Carlson Craft and Kate Aspen products. Elegant Events is committed to providing professional, detailed and well-organized services for both clients and vendors. Our goal is to provide premium event planning services and raise standards throughout the event and wedding industry.

Jessica A. Robinson, a native of Roanoke, VA and raised in the DC Metropolitan Area, began her career in event planning 2000 after being exposed to the industry for many years. At a young age, Jessica handled detailed planning responsibilities for her family catering business, as well as following in her mothers shadow as an event decorator. Her passion for planning grew far beyond her family's expectations as she began to create her own path into the event and wedding industry, thus starting her own company with a name that describes her planning style at its best Elegant!
Jessica is currently an active member of the Association of Bridal Consultants (ABC) where she continues to gain experience in the "Business of Brides", and a past member of The Association of Wedding Professionals International (AWPI). It is through ABC that she received her certification as a Professional Wedding Consultant and continues to strive for higher learning in the industry. Haven been inspired and mentored by one of the worlds Master Bridal Consultants, Jessica has a spirit of determination and excellence, making her an up and coming leader in the event & wedding industry.
In addition to her educational experience, Jessica was invited to share her knowledge of events and weddings with the world in spring 2007 by hosting an independent segment as part of the Sister 4 Sister Saturday on the SamClay Business Informative Show. Airing for three consecutive months "After Yes…Before I Do" provided a wealth of information through internet radio, reaching a new wave of technical savvy brides and event host.
